This auction is for a very beautiful Irish Chain Quilt. THIS QUILT IS IN PERFECT CONDITION .

It measures approx. 68 x 88 it is beautiful, I have had this quilt for a long time but do not really remember how old it is, I bought this quilt in a antique shop many years ago. I have only used it a few times to drape over my chair in the formal living room, it mostly has been packed away, I remember there was a hand written tag on it when I bought it that said it was handmade and approx. when, but I have not been able to find where I put the tag, if I come across it before this auction ends I will add the information.

I took the best pictures I could so you could see how very beautiful this quilt is, the quilting is beautiful someone put a lot of time into this quilt, as you can see the back is white and quilted and just as beautiful as the front. The main color is navy blue with white. This is one quilt I will keep if it doesn't sell.

I hope you can see what a beautiful, well made quilt this is and I have taken such good care of it, there is nothing wrong with this quilt, it is in excellent condition, clean and ready to use.

We moved 8 yrs ago from a 4 bedroom house to a smaller house but really did not downsize, only packed up and stored things, but we are moving out of state and I really have to downsize now, I have never parted with any of my quilts from 3 full size beds and 2 twin beds, but now since we are moving out of state I am forced to part with some of them, I really love quilts and many of my quilts came from my Mother, some were her's and some she gave to me as a gift, now my Mother is no longer with me so you can understand why it is so hard to decide which one's to part with. Some have been packed up, some I draped over sofa back, back of chairs, stacked on top of my cedar chest or on quilt racks and yes, I even have one on my dining room table. It will take me time to go through them but I will be putting many up for sale.

I have collected many things in almost 55 years of marriage, so if you are a quilt lover keep checking back, I have so many, many items and quilts to put up for sale and I try to get 2 or 3 up each day.

All my items are well taken care of and come from a very clean and smoke free home.

Shipping is calculated on weight and final destination, I am happy to combine shipping if more then one items is purchased, so if you buy more then one item wait for a invoice that shows the discounted shipping.
