Up for bid is a beautiful antique white Irishlinen tablecloth and 12 matching napkins. This 90" x 88" tableclothwould be perfect for the holiday table. It is already washed and pressed! Background: This tablecloth & napkins (along with other linens) was acquired from an estate sale of a prominent wealthy family in NH by the name of E.B. Dane. A tiny tag with the name on it is hand sewn in the corner of the tablecloth and each napkin. The tablecloth and napkins each bear the E.B. Dane monogram that is designed in such a decorative way that it could belong to "anyone". It is almost "generic" in its design. Description: The tablecloth features a very beautiful, intricate design. In the center of cloth t is a large circle design of leaves, pumpkins and grapes. Two monograms are evenly spaced around the circle. In the center of this circle is a design of fruits including grapes, pumpkins, apples and a pineapple. The edging of the tablecloth has a large urn in each corner and in the center of each side t is grouping of what looks like an urn, cruet, pitcher & wine glass (see picture). A swirling leaf design completes the border. Size: Tablecloth is 90"x 88" and the napkins are 26.5"x 25.75" Important: The tablecloth and napkins are in very good condition. This is an antique tablecloth so t may be slight flaws due to its age and use. T are several small spots like the one shown in the picture beside a dime. The napkins are also in great shape, t are several small spots and one has a tiny pin-size hole. These are absolutely beautiful and well cared for linens. They have been washed and pressed. This design is one of the most beautiful ones I have seen and the harvest motif would be perfect for holiday parties. It would also look lovely on a round table.
