Vintage Irish Painted Double Damask Tablecloth Set This is a beautiful painted damask tablecloth and napkin set. Marked 'Pure Irish Linen Double Damask' (woven into the cloth itself), this set consists of a 108" x 72" tablecloth and 12 22" x 21" napkins/lapkins. The linen is not bright white, but a creamy off white that is super-soft and very rich-looking. Multicolor floral displays dance around the hem and across the table top edge of the cloth, accented with the silvery woven damask swags. Just think how many Sunday suppers or special occasions were celebrated on these beautiful linens? This has been freshly hand laundered and gently pressed for photos. T is no musty or fusty odor - it is ready to use or give as a gift to that special someone. I've looked this over closely and note a few less than fingertip areas that are shown in the photos (2 tiny holes and areas of very faint discoloration). The pindot hole is on the tabletop; the other is on the side that hangs down. that hangs over the side. One napkin has a few similar very faint areas of discoloration, but the other 11 are in fine shape. I'm being more detailed on my description, but I want you to be pleased with these gorgeous linens.
