Up for bids, I have a real nice vintage Iron City sign. It measures 14 inches wide by 10 inches tall and is constructed of either plaster, clay, or some other similar material. On the left side is engraved, "M.J. Golden & Co. Inc. Pittsburgh, PA circa 1951". I tried to get a pic of the engraving, but it did not show up to well. The sign is in really nice shape for its age of 56 yrs. I noticed a very small chip (see pic) on the side next to the "I" in Iron. T are a couple very minor blemishes that you really have to look close to see, but hardly noticeable at all. Seems as though t was some kind of clear varnish applied to it at one time which probably protected the surface. Weighs a few pounds as well (3-5 lbs.). Overall, this is an outstanding piece of Iron City breweriana that is sure to be a conversation piece for years to come! This will be shipped via FedEx with insurance. Lower 48 states only (no international). Money Orders, Cashiers / Bank Checks, & Personal Checks (held for 7 days to clear) will be accepted. Sorry, no paypal. I hope to receive payment within 10 days of auction close. Please ask any questions you might have and they will be answered as quickly and as accurately as posssible. Thank You for looking at our listing & Happy Holidays!
