is a Venetian interpretation of the 60s lava lamp - very psychedelic and very Gio Ponti with bold and whimsical mid- century modern design. These lamps will garner everyone's attention. The original importer told me that these were definitely made before 1963. The colors are orange and white, with tons of 24kt gold inclusion. Orange is probably the rarest color of Murano glass. The glass is in PERFECT condition, with no cracks, chips, blisters or blips. The solid wood bases have a gold leaf finish. Original paper inventory labels still attached.

If you're a dealer, put them in your window! If you're a designer, sell them to your hippest client! If you're a collector, these are a must-have!

Please notice (in pictures #2 and #3 below) that these lamps have two distinctly different moods. One side is predominately orange with white spots and the other side is predominately white with orange spots. They are spectacular!

They stand 34 1/4 inches tall to the top of the socket. The glass body alone is just over 24 inches tall. They are huge ! The bases are 6 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches high.

I recently had these lamps rebuilt by a UL certified lighting manufacturer and they bear his UL label and certification. He used all new satin brass hardware of the highest quality.

These lamps will brighten the day of anyone who walks into your room. Designers can feel confident specifying my vintage lamps in any project, as my top concerns are safety, quality, authenticity and beauty!
