VINTAGE ITALY 800 STERLING SILVER ENAMEL COMPACT

This is a beautiful vintage compact. It is marked 800 which is a European silver mark. It is also marked ?04 FM which is an Italian maker's mark. The compact has malachite enameling on top. T is also a hand painted scene of a romantic couple and a dog. The compact has beautiful etched designs on the top, sides and back. The inside has a mirror, a powder puff and a powder screen which all appear to be original. The compact measures 3 inches square. The only problem I can find is two light scratches on the top of the compact. I tried to show these in my pictures. They do not detract from the beauty of the picture. Also, the mirror will slightly slide up and down. The compact also has an age patina and may need cleaning or polishing.

To ship in the US by first class mail in a padded envelope is $3.50. Priority mail is $6.00. Insurance is available for $1.70 for $50 of coverage. Please contact me for rates for items over $50. If you elect not to insure your item, please understand that I am not responsible for loss or damage after it is with the postal system. Items do get lost and often damaged no matter how well they are packaged.

For international customers, Priority Mail is $13.00. First class international mail is $4.00. I am happy to ship internationally, but please do not ask me to lie on the customs form. Customs fees or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

I am always happy to combine shipping. If you win more than one of my auctions, please contact me to receive an invoice combining the shipping costs.
