4-Piece Vintage J.L. Clark
Advertising Canister Set Lipton Tea, Maxwell House, Pillsbury's Best Flour and Domino Sugar Nice, complete set of this classic 1960s tin canister set, with plastic knobs. Canisters can nest inside one another. The graphics are repeated on both sides of the cans. The set has one primary flaw: The knob on the largest canister (Pillsbury) is chipped. You will need to reinforce it (or replace it) in some way for practical use. Paint has worn off the tops of the lids, which actually looks really cool especially on the Lipton and Maxwell canisters; I like the look of it. And t is some rusting, which I'll explain individually below. Lipton Tea : 4 inches in diameter; 4 3/4 inches high Shows a little bit of rust inside and on bottom rim. Number written on bottom. Paint coming off of top of lid. Maxwell House : 5 inches in diameter; 5 3/4 inches high Paint is still vivid blue, and paint is just starting to rub off the top of lid. Shows rust on bottom and a little bit around bottom edge inside. Number written on bottom. Domino Sugar : 6 inches in diameter; 6 3/4 inches high Painted is almost completely worn off of top of lid and one side of can -- perhaps sun-faded. One black mark on edge. Tiny bit of rust and a number written on bottom. Topf of know is a little chipped; doesn't affect usage. Pillsbury's Best Flour : 7 inches in diameter; 7 3/4 inches Paint has some scratches from usage and a price-sticker remnant. Edge of knob is chipped. Paint is faded more on one side of the can than the other. I SHIP FAST! Additional photos available upon request.
