This is a VINTAGE JACOBS BROTHERS COMMERCIAL SCALE with a removable brass pan that appears to be in working condition. The circular border around both dials is brass. The body of the scale is cast iron. The logo on the dial reads "JACOBS BROS. CO. INC. NEW YORK NY" "CAP 20 LBS. BY 1 OZ." and "NYC PENNA APPRD L-5" are printed elsew on the dial. The dimensions of the scale without the pan are 17"L x 10"W x 10.5"H. The pan measures 18.5"L x 11.5"W x 15"H. The scale and pan have been sloppily covered with aluminum paint and t are rust spots on the frame. The glass covering the dial on one side is missing and, as a result, the paper dial on that side is badly discolored. T is NO RESERVE on this auction.
