For sale is a model of an American Airlines, Electra 2. It is I'd 1950's or 60's, has a metal top half & plastic lower, length is 14 inches, span 16 & is marked "made in Japan". Over all it is a tad dirty & grubby (see photo for general idea), has a little surface rust around some windows in one area (see photo) & although it looks very clean inside the battery compartment ( there is a little rust in a top corner), it is at the moment not running.On ther plus side, it's transfers & paintwork are all intact & I think it would benefit greatly from a little time spent with a sponge & warm soapy water. I have not got round to this myself & hope that the starting price reflects this. Many thanks for looking & will send out in a well padded box.
