We are happy to present for sale this beautiful VINTAGE HAND CARVED JAPANESE HARDWOOD BOX/CHEST. Carved floral decorations all around. Cedarwood lining. Measures 14" by 9" by 8". In excellent condition. Only a small area of fading on lid. Recessed/raised carving of a man and woman on a bridge on the top. All hardware is original and the lid opens and closes in perfect working order. A wonderful piece of utilitarian art.
