Japanese hakata doll depicts a woman in a kimono seated on a mat. I don't believe she is a geisha judging by her age and demeanor, but she may be. She has a comb in her hair, otherwise no ornamentation. She measures 7 1/4" tall and 4 1/2" across. She is free of any chips, cracks, or repairs. She does have what looks like some water spots on the bottom front of her gray kimono and some normal slight stains or dirt from handling on her red kimono. On the right side of the mat is a spot of residue w t was a price sticker at one time and I just saw it, so I have not cleaned it off. I will leave that to the buyer. On the back t is no marking but t is a dark spot that looks like a Urasaki label may have been t at one time. It has the same shape as one of the vintage red and silver Urasaki labels. Overall, she displays very nicely even without any extra cleaning. White spots are glare. Check my other auctions and save on shipping when you combine items.
