ALOHA To me, bamboo basket weaving in one of the truely unique art forms from Japanese. And up for bid is one of these beautifully woven hanakago or bamboo basket that is usually used for the dispalying of ikebana-flower arranging. This basket is perfect in everyway, size and shape. The basket itself is 8" high and 15" high including its handle. It is 18" around the middle of the basket. It is about 60 years old and is in perfect condition. T are no chips or cracked pieces of bamboo. It also comes with a ceramic vase to put your flower arrangements in so that you do not harm the bamboo in anyway. This is truely a work of art. Thank you for checking out my listing. Please have a look at some of the other treasures I found at the latest antique fair in Tokyo. I will combine postage on multiple purchases if they fit in the same box. Mahalo Mahalo
