NO RESERVE........................#F........................................Estate Sale item..............I recently purchased a large collection of Japanese Art , consisting of several Block Prints , Paintings , and regular Print Art . Some are old , and some are not. They came from the estate of a woman who was a big collector of Japanese & Chinese Art , but I have no real info on her . It is important to know and consider I have no real knowledge about Japanese or Chinese Art , so I am depending on bidders to have the proper knowledge of what they are bidding on . A few of the pieces did have notations on them , that I can pass on , but otherwise , all are being sold as is , and as shown in my photos . I can basically only give you info on size and condition, unless t is some added info , included with that particular piece........................................................................This auction is for an vintage Japanese Block Print , that is under glass in a nice older Wood Frame , measuring approx. 17 in. by about 12 in. . The Print is hand marked at the center bottom edge " In The Woods 1955 " It is signed in the lower left corner " Shiro Kasamatsu " . On the back of the Frame backing is " c 11/110 " , and this also appears next to a red stamp mark , on the front lower right corner . T looks to be very small scuff or scratch. marks on the Print , near the Frame on the left side edge , (see close up photo , showing Wood Frame section. I don't think it is a big deal , but needs to be mentioned. I have a lot of glare in my photos , from the glass , but all the colors are nice and dark , with no detection of fading. I think a little furniture polish on the frame would greatly enhance the wood . Please ask all your questions before you bid.
