This auction is for an excellent large unframed vintage print by Japanese master Hiroshi Yoshida [1876-1950]. Mr Yoshida was a leading figure in the NEW PRINT movement in Japan. He is a master of the woodcut. This print is pencil signed, and also titled in pencil " Cherry Tree in Kawagoe ". It is in excellent condition and measures about 10 1/2 x 15 3/4 ". The condition is excellent with some very minimal age-related yellowing of the paper. It does not appear to ever have been framed and has good color, with no fading.
