My mannequin is lifesize so jewelry shown is accurate to size and scale. No disappointments! Offered for auction is beautifully feminine antique French enameled jeweled lady's purse. This is a small purse. The frame is a luminous, rose pink guilloche set with gold leaf and further adorned with rhinestones, seed pearls and carnelian cabs on the clasp. The frame is in excellent vintage condition with no enamel loss. The poor little micro petit point bag has seen better days. It is soiled and t are some spots of fraying on the front, back and interior. It is all intact and still would display beautifully or you could replace the bag. The frame measures 4" across at the top of the frame, and 5 1/4" across at the hinges. The bag measures 5 1/2" long from the top of the clasp to the bottom of the bag. It measures 5 1/4" across just under the hinges at the widest part of the bag. This is a delightful little antique purse with an exquisitely hand enameled, jeweled frame. T are some excellent resource books available on Czech jewelry & Bohemian art glass jewelry and I encourage anyone who has an interest in old Czechoslovakia and Bohemian jewelry to purchase them!
