The vintage jewelry and box by MELE have been collected from various estate auctions in my hometown with the exception of one pair of earrings from my grandmother's collection. The box is not in overall good condition, although the interior still looks pretty good and it still latches securely. One of the hinges is tweaked and it has cover damage, as shown in the photo. T are 32 pieces of jewelry in good used condition showing typical metal wear and minor imperfections. Two of the pieces have been repaired or semi-repaired. Goldtone 2 1/4-inch wide MOTHER pin was missing the embellishment; I found a red metal rose and stuck it on t but did not glue it, so the buyer can decide to keep it or replace it with something else. The necklace with the opals, blue and clear rhinestones and tiny pearls was missing the large center stone, which I replaced with a clear stone that seems about the right size and suits the overall design. It seems to be an older piece and was well-worn, having a dulled finish. The rest of the jewelry is as found. T are 16 pairs of earrings, all screw- or clip-back. The hearts on the card with green and purple enamel rose buds were found in a display case of my grandmother's jewelry; her handwritten price of 10.00 is on the back of the card. Two pairs are marked 1/20 12 GOLD FILLED, one pair with onyx stones, the other with small flower dangles. A pair with black glass beads has tiny nicks & scratches on the dangling beads, which may be onyx or glass; they appear rather old. Goldtone clip-backs with blue cabs & clear rhinestones is marked H.G.F (maybe). A pair with some kind of natural green stones in silvertone setting has a PAT. NO. T are 13 necklaces &/or pendants, including the magnifying glass, which has a slight bend in the bale and is marked on the back L.V.C.- (cannot make out the numbers). It is on a 36 inch chain. Silvertone chain and crystal beads (32 inches) and goldtone chain with square-shaped aurora-borealis stone (16 inches) are marked AVON. The crystal disco ball and tear-drop pendant show light scratches as does the other oblong pendant with the aurora borealis sheen. I'm not sure what the thing with the nail is supposed to be, but it has a hanging charm monogrammed DEV. Please refer to the photos for more details or write to me with questions. Any desired cleaning & repairs will be left for the buyer. Sold as found. Overall condition of this lot is good; some pieces are in very good condition; older pieces show heavier wear. You may return the item if you are not satisfied with your purchase as long as you contact me within 48 hours upon receiving the package. I will refund your purchase price. Shipping fees are nonrefundable unless I am at fault. You will also be responsible for return shipping. I cannot be held responsible for items damaged, lost or stolen in the mail unless the buyer also purchases insurance. Insurance claims must be initiated by the buyer with the postal service.
