Up for auction is this vintage 1970 AT "Capture Of The Pygmy Gorilla" w/ figure and acessaries by Hasbro. The adventure begins when the GI Joe Land Adventurer goes on a safari to capture the pygmy gorilla. His mission is to bag the savage gorilla and bring it back alive. Set Includes: GI Joe Land Adventurer Camo Shirt Camo Pants Black Short Boots Supply Chest (orange chest and black lid w/ jungle expedition on top) (lid is cracked and glued) Hunting Rifle w/ scope Flat Bottom Boat Seat Struts (2) Pontoons (2) Outboard Motor (I put battery in and it did not run) Gun - Camera Pygmy Gorilla Cargo Net *Free Bonus: a copy of the adventure "Capture Of The Pygmy Gorilla" Comic story ( copy: not original ) *Also Free doll stand The set looks good for its age, but the figure has a spot on face,typical stress cracks and is a little loose(doll stand helps),also a small bald spot on beard. This set is from my own private collection and would make a fine addition to any collection. Please see pictures and e-mail any questions.
