Wonderful vintage Johann Maresch tobacco jar with dog. Purchased at an estate auction. Has two very small chips on underneath of lid which are not noticeable when lid is in place. The larger of the two is shown in the last picture. This is not uncommon for a piece of this age and made from this type of soft material.
