I will ship this very nice smaller set of lightly used older John Deere USA made combination wrenches anywhere in the world and will accept any form of payment for them. I bought a couple of wrenches like these that were brand new from the local John Deere dealer in 1990 after they had been discontinued. They had been replaced with lesser quality wrenches from Tai wan that did not have the distinctive 2 leg deer logo on them. I figured it was a "now or never" opportunity to collect a few sets of these beautiful John Deere wrenches so I bought all the new ones and every used set I could find for the next couple of years.
This auction consists of 10 wrenches made here in the USA about 25 years ago with the elegant 2 leg leaping deer logo. They range ins size from 3/8" through 15/16" and are in exceptionally nice and only lightly used condition. I bought 3 or 4 groups of these used John Deere wrenches at farm sales and from individuals so I could put together as many complete sets as possible. My best set of used wrenches was in a roll pouch and recently sold here on eBay. This group was my next best partial set. I am most likely the only person in the world that was crazy enough back then to buy and save tools like these because I never found anyone else that did what I did. This set consists of the following combination wrenches: Size In Inches Deere Part # Overall Length Condition 3/8 TY 3506 6-9/16" Used 7/16 TY 3507 7-1/8" Used 1/2 TY 3508 7-3/4" Used 9/16 TY 3509 8-5/16" Used 5/8 TY 3510 9" Used 11/16 TY 3511 9-3/4" Used 3/4 TY 3512 10-1/4" Used 13/16 TY 3513 11-1/4" Used 7/8 TY 3514 12-1/8" Used 15/16 TY 3515 13-1/8" Used All of these wrenches are in lightly used condition and are generally very nice overall. The 9/16" shows the most wear on the open end as one might expect because it often gets more use than any other wrench does. Both the 9/16" and the 3/8" have the name Clift very lightly engraved with an electric pencil on the back side. You can see this engraving in one of the photos of this listing. The other 8 wrenches are not marked at all. Please remember that these tools were meant to be used, not collected and preserved, and were used on a daily basis for a few years. They did not spend their entire life on a piece of carpet in a drawer in my spare and unused tool box as they have for the last 20 years or so. I have also listed a complete set of brand new older John Deere wrenches from 1/4" through 1-1/4" here on eBay. If you want finer wrenches than those listed here, then please look at one of my other auctions. I believe these wrenches were made by either the Bonney Tool Company or some other domestic manufacturer between 1976 and 1989. I have another partial set of identical wrenches for sale here on eBay but they all have lower part numbers than these wrenches have. I recently called the local JD parts department and they told me that the wrenches in that set were obsoleted some time in 1976 and replaced with the wrenches in this set that were all obsoleted some time in 1989. That time frame makes sense because I know these wrenches were obsolete when I was looking for them in 1990. I suspect Deere had a tool manufacturer make wrenches for them starting some time in the late 1960's or early 1970's and sold them until they switched to another tool manufacturer in 1976 for some reason unknown to me at this time. I am by no means an expert on this subject, so if you happen to be an authority on the history of these very sought after tools, please contact me through the eBay system or call me anytime at . I will carefully wrap each wrench individually to protect it from being scratched in shipping and will ship them anywhere in the world. There is not much more that I need to say except that this is a very rare opportunity to acquire some very sought after older John Deere collectible hand tools. If you are at all serious about owning some of ...
