Being offered for your consideration is a beautiful dimensional bird and clip earrings. The set has a striking resemblance to MAZER/JOMAZ design. The brooch is only marked with a number on the back - N866. I don't see any other markings. The wing earrings only have a pat. number. Another ebayer told me this was a Mazer set. Mazer Bros. was in operation from the early 1920's - 1951. After the war in 1946, the brothers decided to split the business. Joseph Mazer founded the Joseph J. Mazer Co. producing high quality pieces marked Mazer. The early mazer jewelry was created by master designers, including Marcel Boucher. Boucher began operations in 1937. In 1939 there was a lucrative order from Saks Fifth Avenue, for Bouchers innovative exotic three dimesional birds. The pin on the brooch extends a bit beyond the closure which is an indication of earlier pieces. The brooch is heavy and features sparkly clear rhinestones. The eye was missing the princess shaped stone, but I have replaced it with a round and it looks great. Measures 2 1/4 X 2 1/4 inches. Besides the round stone replacement, the brooch is excellent. The clip earrings measure 1 1/2 inches in length. Some very light wear to the gold on the earrings along the edges. Not too noticeable. I do combine shipping. Shipping includes tracking and insurance. Thank you very much for looking.
