Hi,I have for auction a Jotul Krumkake Maker. A Norwegian Waffle Cookie, Made by Jotul, from Cast Iron,with a bakelite Handle. Beautiful traditional design of 5 hearts. Can be used fordecorative or functional purposes.When I found this waffle maker it was unusable it was so filthy. I have cleaned the Krumkake Maker using the lye method recommended by the Cast Iron Frying Pan manufacturer Griswold. I was extremely careful to protect the bakelite handles during this process. The Base ring was a true "problem child" to clean. I think both peices cleaned up quite nicely and should be ready to make yummy treats after a minor cleaning from shipping. This Iron will make biscuits approximately 7.5” Round.
