This vintage Compensating Polar Planimeter was made in the 1940's, but you'd never know it to see the excellent condition it is in 60 years later. It looks like the black instrument box was always kept inside its cardboard box and shows no dings or rubbing. The case is absolute pristine. Inside the box is a label with this on it: K&E 4236, serial no. 10796. On the instrument are the words "Made in Germany." The case is lined with creamy yellow suede, and is in very good condition -- just has some rubbing in the lid from the pole arm. As far as I can tell, the instrument itself is in excellent condition. It comes with a manual published in 1949 that covers models 4236, 4236M and 4242.International bidders: please contact us for shipping costs. This will be sent International Priority Mail.
