This is the much coveted Rocket Kamenstein Tea Kettle that collectors far and wide are searching for! These seem to be very hard to find. It is made of highly polished stainless steel, and holds 2 1/2 quarts of water. Located at it's top is a rotating ring powered by steam produced when water boils inside the pot. As the ring turns on its ball-bearing base, a pair of attached rockets circle the tea kettle, signaling users that water is boiling.
This piece is in good condition, and is very clean, inside and out. Unfortunately, it is missing the spout cover, which prevents me from testing it out. The only other issue is some silver chipping on the rockets (these are not stainless steel), which you can see in the pictures.
Very cute tea kettle to add to your collection.
