Up for auction and your consideration is this Vintage Kersa Cloth face Puppet. Puppet is in Very Good condition. This is the vintage puppet theater hand puppet – the quiet hero in the puppet theater! He was made in the 1950s in Germany by the famous KERSA Company & is to be considered a rare antiquity.The head is made of modeled jersey fabric & stuffed with Kapok; hand painted & very detailed; his eyebrows & mustache are genuine fur & he has black plastic eyes. His body, hands & hat are made of felt. The finger sheath inside the neck is made of cardboard.This puppet has rarely been handled and has been properly stored over the years. It's in very good vintage condition & perfectly fit to be played with!Kersa hand puppet measures approximately 30cm or 12 inches tall with hat & fits on the normal sized hand of every adult. On the front/bottom of the puppets Blue coat - sits the Kersa tag that reads: ‘Kersa Made in Germany’.Kersa is a quite famous toy manufacturer, founded in 1925 & still existing. The name Kersa derives from: ‘Kreative Erzeugnisse Realisiert im Spielwaren Atelier’ – meaning creative products realized in the toy workshop.Vintage Kersa toys are pretty rare & harder to find than Steiff toys!
