This auction is for a vintage Kiana Alaska Mint crystaline and cultured marble etched artwork plaque signed Bill Devine, circa 1982. I apologize for the flash issues, that white spot on the plaque is FLASH, not actually on the plaque. The scene on the plaque depicts a gold miner panning for gold near a stream and campfire. The plaque measures approximately 11 and 3/4" x 8 and 3/4" and approximately 1/4" thick. It is in overall very good condition but does have some light surface scratches due to age/storage/normal display in the past. The scratches are not deep and do not take away from the overall beauty of the item, which displays very nicely. The plaque inserts nicely and sits at a slight angle into a pretty beveled, wooden display holder that is approximately 7 and 5/8"wide x 3 and 7/8" deep. Not sure what the wood is made of but it is in very good condition also, with just some light wear/minor scratches/dust from display. This item is in as received condition and may need minor dusting/cleaning. On the back brown felt backing glued to it along with a Kiana sticker with information about the Kiana artists and cleaning of the item. The felt backing has a minor amount of excess lint on it and is very slightly bunched at the bottom where it was glued on the back and probably came loose when inserted into the wood piece, but nothing that is important to the function or display of the item.
