~~~Vintage~~~ Kienzle Mantle or Shelf Clock Frankfurt, Germany Circa 1920's For Auction is a lovely vintage Kienzle German Chiming Mantel or Shelf Clock. This great Circa 1920 clock is from the Art Deco period and is working condition . The clock case is made of Walnut wood and veneers and has brass movement. T is a scroll wood overlay on each side of the front case that is quite nice without any cracks or repairs. The wood case is in Excellent condition. The clock face is a very clean with a old gold matte finish color and nice large black numbers with black minute marks. T is a convex clear glass crystal covering the clock face. It appears original and is in Very good condition without any scratches, cracks or breaks in the glass. The door is a little loose but opens and closes OK. The metal door closure fits into the small wood opening to latch. "Kienzle" is written in gold lettering at the top center of the clock face. T is an original black and gold sticker on the inside door on the back of the case identifying the clock works maker I believe and has Uhrenmacher on the decal. This clock has Westminster sounding chimes and has a chime or silent option. The Winding key is included.
