Up for sale is this vintage 1930s/1940s Sunbonnet Sue handmade quilt. � Pieces are very detailed, have embroidery on their hats and have a padded flesh colored arms. It has been appliquéd and made into a quilt within the last 40 years. This quilt has the following details: 1930s - 1940s Sunbonnet Sue measures 9.5 inches long 30 little girls in all Each little girl has been appliqued in black outline stitch on a 12.5 x 13.25 inch white block. Each block is white with a lightweight denim sashing in between Size: � 99.5 inches long by 81 inches wide Backing is snowy white cotton Quilting is 6 - 8 stitches per inch Batting is lightweight and still fluffy Fabrics are crisp and clean One faded area noted in photos I try to photograph and describe items as accurately as possible.
