For your bidding consideration we are offering a wonderfully vintage Kirsten, aluminum, tobacco pipe. The piece measures six inches in length, including the mouthpiece and approximately two inches in height. The shaft is comprised of aluminum and the mouthpiece is presumably bakelite plastic. The bowl is reminiscent of a corncob, however is made from a dense plastic like material which I am unable to identify with certainty. The bottom side of the shaft is marked with the words, MADE IN U.S.A. and is impressed with the capital letter L. Although the pipe has been in use in the past, the condition remains quite good.
