Vintage KNOLL Saarinen Tulip Chair Set-4PC Up for auction is an original vintage KNOLL, Eero Saarinen designed set of 4 tulip side chairs. This set is ALL ORIGINAL!!! Cream fiberglass shells with original burnt orange/green cloth covers! Bases are solid metal with original finish! Each chair is tagged with the KNOLL label. The bases are marked, BR-51. The chairs are in very good vintage condition. The fabric & foam are original to the chairs. The foam has NOT hardened, but it does have some of the dust that seems to accumulate inside the covers. They can be used as is, or foam can be easily replaced if desired. We have not attempted to clean the fabric, it doesn't need much anyways. The edges have a few marks & dings, but t are no serious issues. The bases are in very good condition with minimal wear. This set has not been retouched or restored--it is all original. Some minor vintage wear should be expected on a completely original & unrestored mid-century modern.
