Here for your bidding consideration is a vintage Konica III Rangefinder with Case. Seikosha MXL Model featuring Hexanon/Konishiroku 48mm f2 (range of f2 ~ f22) Lens Camera is in excellent physical condition, however, there is oil present on the shutter & aperture leaves. Other than the overall condition the other good news is that the unique double-pump wind lever operates and the shutter will fire and even appears somewhat accurate once your loosen things up with some test fires. Ultimately though, the shutter-speed accuracy is a question mark at best and the camera is in need of at least a CLA to return it to proper function. So with this in mind I am offering strictly as an item for Parts or Repair only. Other items of note: Lens glass is clean and scratch free. Some dust and dots of oil inside but no fungus that I have observed. Rangefinder functions and appears accurate. A bit fogged-up but little if any dust. Focus ring operates with a positive and smooth action. Feels a little tight likely due to the ancient lubricant. Shutter speed adjustment ring operates smoothly with positive detents. Shutter timer actually works great with no hesitation. Aperture adjust works fine. Case is in good condition. Some scuffs, scratches, and wear around the edges. Leather (case and strap) is pretty soft and pliable with no large cracks or tears. Still a nice solid case. So there you have it. If you are looking for a display piece this would make an excellent example. Not making any guarantees but it appears there are no major issues beyond items described above. So it may be possible with some TLC, or should I say CLA, that this nice rangefinder could be back to taking beautiful pictures once again.
