This auction is for a vintage 1940s Korda Thief of Bagdad crescent moon brooch/pin. This piece was produced by a company called Rice-Weiner for Alexander Korda's "Thief of Bagdad" movie which premiered in 1940. Pieces like these were supposedly wrap gifts for cast and crew. This WWII era brooch is gold tone with an antique finish. It has lightly enameled accents, faux pearls, and colored stones. Brooch measures 3 3/8" tall, and 3" wide. Marked "113, THIEF OF BAGDAD, KORDA, 6" on the back. Please look at the pictures to judge the condition for yourself. Feel free to ask any questions and I will answer to the best of my abilities.
