Background: I’m cleaning out my dad’s cellar. He had many interests. One of which was fixing clocks and watches. He was pretty good at it. Offered here is an anniversary clock, made in Western Germany. I think it is older but I don’t know how old. Using West Ger. as a clue, I would say, after WWII. Description: This clock has a porcelain (I think) face with nice clean decorations. It says “Kundo” and at the bottom it says, “Made in Germany.” On the back of the face (scratched into the brass backing) my father wrote his monogram and that he cleaned it in May 1994. So, now we know approximately when he got it. The brass plate, on the back of the movement, has stamped into it - “Fred J. Koch” with a nice logo within a circle ( can’t quite make out what it shows) directly beneath the name. Then, “No (0) Jewels unadjusted.” Then, it says, “Made in west Germany.” Stamped into the base, on the underside is - Kieninger & Obergfell - Made in Western-Germany.” The base is tarnished and has some age scratches on its’ surface. The inside brass surfaces look pretty good. The glass cover looks old, in as much as the glass has some small bubbles and many ripples. The dome also has, 3 good sized, chips. I have shown them in a couple of photos. There are also some bumpy spots on the surface - I’m thinking it might be residue from some tape - I don’ read more
