Hello,for sale is a vintage and rare Kyosho Hurricane Electric powered RC Catamaran speed boat.This model has been in storage for over 20 years and is in very good,clean condition. It is all original. Nice size,about 31 inches long from tip to prop.I purchased a new 8.4 volt 3000mah nimh battery to test it out. Plugged it in and she ran beautifully. Granted she is not as fast as these new brushless motor, lipo powered newer models,but she is no slouch either:-) The hull is solid,has a few minor hairline cracks on top of one pontoon, (pictured)but they have been repaired and do not leak. Also a few scuffs here and there from normal use. Decals are in very nice condition. All Futaba time appropriate hardware installed in boat. IE.Servos/Rx and Transmitter. The very top portion of the transmitter antenna pulls off(pictured),but this does not effect the range of the model. It still extends very high. Original instruction booklet and a spare new futaba servo,also some spare gears, extra decals and tools that came with model,included. ALL YOU NEED TO RUN IS A BATTERY CHARGER FOR NICD OR NIMH BATTERIES. The prop will be removed for shipping and placed in original part bag,to avoid possible damage. Also the original battery tray,(pictured) can be reinstalled easily with epoxy. I used velcro for easier access and removal when I ran it.I think read more
