Presented for auction A recent estate find... A Fabulous Vintage 'La Mode' Guilloche' Enamel Compact Gently Used - Very Nice Condition Hinges and Clasps work well Has White Guilloche' Enamel in very good condition, with a central Ivory-Colored Spray, adorned with Florals Hand-Painted on the cover Bottom of case is also Guilloche' Enamel a Silvery White Snow-Flake & Floral design, no scratches. Both top and bottom enamel is smooth to the touch, the top does have a very minute small scratch about 1/64" long - Not a detractor to the beauty! The outside edge has a raised goldtone floral wreath - very beautiful. Marked 'La Mode on case, inside rim. Clean and Clear Silvery Metal Mirror Which lifts to reveal the rouge, where there is still some in the well, no rouge puff. The Original Powder Puff is present and under the goldtone powder well cover is a small amount of powder residue. Measures 2 1/2" Round x 1/4", Weighs 3.4 oz.
