Thanks for checking out my auctions today! Up for bid is one of my wife's vintage rings. She's going to sell quite a bit of her fine jewelry because she doesn't wear it any longer now that she doesn't work. This was the first vintage piece she ever bought. She bought it in 1976 at an antique show. She was told it was from a doctor's wife and approximate age was from the 40's. It needs a good cleaning and a buffing from the jewelers and it will look good as new. This is a large ring as was most of her rings. She said to say that she has short pudgy fingers if that gives you any idea of size in the picture. The stone itself is about 1/2" long and 3/8" wide. She said it's either an opal doublet or triplet. She isn't sure which. That's a process w they put black onyx under the opal to bring out the "fire". She has several different pieces in this stone. She always thought it suited her personality! I believe it's a size 8 and it looks like the inside is marked 10 G or K. I can't tell which. If you like it in the picture I'm sure you'll be very happy with it in person. I am very happy to combine shipping whenever it is feasible and the auction ends within 7 days of each other. Payment must be made at the same time to get a discount. I appreciate a "heads up" that you are still shopping so I don't have to pack your item more than once. Reserve prices are not given out prior to end of auction. Please do not contact me after the auction to "see what's the best price I can do". If you're interested you should bid during the auction. I only ship using United States Postal Services and require your package to be insured just as I do with my customers in the United States. In order to insure your package it must be sent as a package and not as a letter. Please use the shipping calculator to determine all shipping and handling charges.
