Today I am again listing a number of exquisite linens, all of which I have collected over the years, many new and unused. You will find lovely embroiderery, cutwork, the very best in crochet work. I have just laundered and line dried (in the fresh Maine air!) all linens and they are now ready for a new home. We are a pet and smoke free home, all linens ready for your enjoyment. I have had this night gown as a "must keep" for many years as the workmanship is so incredible. This was purchased with other similiar pieces (all new and unused) all in blanket chest, probably tucked away awaiting a wedding day! I have laundered and ironed the piece and made of lovely fine cotton, sturdy but delicate. The white hand crochet work on the bodice is so delicate and continues all the way around the back of the piece. A pale pink satin ribbon has been threaded through the top edging. Closure is in front with 2 tiny snaps.(You could reverse it and have the closure in the back as front and back are identical). Truly a lovely piece to add to any collection to to use yourself or to give as a gift. Measurements are: overall length 49", underarm to underarm 23" and the base of the crochet work, arm to arm is 16". Sleeve length is 23". A truly wonderful piece to be enjoyed by all of us who appreciate fine linens. Please email any questions, I will gladly provide more photo if you will send your email address.
