Pictures can not capture the extraordinary detail and fine workmanship of this lovely piece. Beautiful example of mid century 1950's pottery made in the same style as that of the better known California ceramic companies such as, Hedi Schoop, Florence, Kay Finch or Betty Lou Nichols. S-Quire Ceramics was located in Los Angeles, CA and was operational between 1943 - 1950. All of the figures were marked with a product number and signed underglaze with "figurine by Zaida". I am selling my personal collection and this is just one of several that I will be listing over the next few weeks (included is a picture of the other pieces) . This figurine #114 is of a delicate young lady from the Victorian era dressed in a black dress holding a bouquet of flowers. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, etc. She is 8 1/2" tall and with her big hoop style dress 6 1/4" diameter at the base. If shipping is less than the $12.00 quoted I will refund the difference.
