LOVELY VINTAGE LAFAYETTE "STEREO-TROL CENTER" HEADPHONE CONTROL UNIT - TYPE STC-1 Judging from the packaging this is a 1970s vintage unit. It provides a method of running two sets of headphones from an amp with control over various aspects of the output. Designed for use with vintage amps that did not have headphone output jacks. This is beautifully engineered and designed. Solid teak cabinet with satin aluminum face plate. Very solid. Complete with original packaging. 2 x 1/4" phono jack outputs for 2 pairs of headphones Rotary channel selector for left/right/stereo normal/stereo reverse Rotary selector for mono/stereo/dimensional stereo Rotary balance control Rotary volume control Speakers/phones selector switch Amp inputs and speaker outputs on rear Dimensions: Width - 11 inches Depth - 4 inches Height - 4 & 1/2 inches Weight - 4 lbs 11 ozs (heavy!) In MINT condition. Looks like it has been stored in it's box for years. Has one flea bite on the front left edge - please see photos but it's hard to see. If you have a vintage amp with no headphone outputs - this is ideal. Or, if you collect vintage Hi Fi equipment this would be a great addition to your collection.
