This gorgeous Lalique frosted "Boite Daphne 10577" Art Deco style jewelry or ring box was produced between approximately 1975-1985. This particular box was received as a gift in 1979, and spent its life in a display cabinet, never used. The last retail price known for it was $950, and auction estimates value similar Daphne boxes at between $750-850. The box features a bas relief Daphne nude with gold-plated or brass detail. T is some fading or plate loss to the exterior banding; otherwise, the box is in excellent condition. Engraved on the under side "Lalique France", the box measures 3.125 inches wide x 2.25 inches high, and weighs 1 lb, 3 oz.. A stunning piece of Lalique history.
