Up for bid is a very old and very worn Confederate flag. I really don't know much about this, as I found it recently at an estate sale and it looked to have been stored in an attic for a number of years. We cleaned it up quite a bit, but it has definitely seen a lot of years of use. Looks to be made of cloth, w the white and blue cloth pieces are sewn on top of the red, not screened in. The stars look to have been applied in some sort of stiff felt. It roughly measures 56" x 35", but the piece is stretched out in some areas, and obviously tattered on the far right side. Looks to have been flown for a number of years. I tried to take as many pics as possible to accurately reflect the condition of the piece. Both sides of the flag have the sewn / applied stars and bars. The first 4 pictures are of one side, and the remaining 3 pics are of the other. Many of the stars are in rough shape as well, with either moth or other wind damage. A very nice addition to your vintage collection! Please email with any questions and thanks for looking!!!
