Up for bid is this Huge 13 piece Lighted Vintage Nativity Set Made in Italy in the 1940's. All pieces including stable are stamped Italy on the bottoms. This set is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or breaks. The hand painted figures are still vibrant with no fading. It comes complete with bark and moss covered natural wood stable measuring 30" long and 19" tall. Stable is lit with vintage working light attached to ceiling. Cord has on/off switch and bakelite plug. T are twelve paper mache figures including the baby Jesus. Jesus is wearing a golden paper halo that is also in perfect condition. The baby rests in a darling little manger. You can arrange the six adults, baby and four animals as desired. Size of pieces are as follows: Jesus 4" long, Manger 5 1/4" x 2 1/2", M ary 9", Joseph 8 3/4" (missing staff), The Magi, Melchior 11 1/2", Balthazar 11 1/2", Gaspar 9", Shepard Boy w/ sheep 11 1/2", Donkey 7 1/4' x 4 1/8", Ox (complete with flexible spring horns) 7 1/4" x 4", Two Cute Lambs (4" x 2 3/4" & 3 3/4" x 3 5/8") This is one of the most complete vintage nativity sets that you are ever likely to find. Normally my listings run for seven days, however due to time restraints and getting this set to you as quickly as possible in time for your Christmas decorating, I have shortened my listing time to 5 days.
