Vintage Large Ornate Unusual Sterling Silver Dragon Pendant Necklace - Celtic? Found at our local Senior Center rummage sale, this striking, unusual & large vintage hand crafted sterling silver necklace has the look of a Celtic design. The pendant depicts a flying dragon, with an ornate reticulated "woven" wing over his body which spirals at the tail. The dragon's legs intersect, which furthers the Celtic knot resemblance. The pendant is marked "925" (sterling) on the large bale & the high quality rope chain is marked "925" Italy, next to the clasp. It measures an impressive 2.25" long, from the top of the bale and 1.25" wide at the wing. The chain measures 18" long, end to end. Both pendant & chain are in excellent condition, free of damage.
