You are bidding on a superb example of a vintage Large Heavy Solid Steel Bookbinding or Leatherworking Roller Tool in very good used condition. Useful in the leather and bookbinding trades. Roller is true and has just been skimmed on my lathe so perfect surface finish, runs nicely. Ash handle to unsplit brass ferrule. Actual roller measures approx. 4" diameter by 2" wide - overall length 11 1/2", weighs over 1.9 kilograms! Photos tell the story. You will go a long way to find one as good as this!
