Looks to date from the 1930 - 1940's era. 22 x 8.5 x 6 inches. "Lauffer" Westminster pendulum mantel or shelf clock, Black Forest Germany from approximately 1940. A beautiful Westminster sound all 15 minutes from 5 chime rods . Original clockwork from Lauffer Germany. Has key. No broken glass on the face. I have not been able to synchronize the chimes, with the time, but I am not familiar with clocks. Clean case, with a few minor marks. The worst is shown in the photo. When I acquired the clock, just before listing, it would run for about 30 - 45 minutes, then stop. I repositioned it and kept starting it, and it has been running straight, for the last couple of days. It should meed cleaning or proper balancing. $19.00 Insured shipping, with tracking.
