I saw another ad for a similar Atmos and he/they called the face Champagne-I don’t know if that is a Le Coultre description or nice creativity on their part-to me the face looks brown-well brownish anyway. This clock looks great. I have clean the gold plate and I think I did a pretty good job. I found one light scratch on the back, on the base, maybe 1/16 of an inch long-and there are, when looked at in bright sunlight, light striations to areas of the gold-lated base. I don‘t know that I found everything that mars the appearance of this clock, but the above is everything that I could find. The clock works fine. I cannot see any wear to the clock face, although there are two tiny spots that I cannot find a use for-so that may be wear-and there is some fading of the brownish color near the number 3. This is a fine clock, a fine looking clock, and if I understand it correctly, you do not have to wind, use batteries etc. It is sort of a perpetual motion clock, once you start it, it just keeps going. It does say 15 jewels and Switzerland, and Atmos, and you can see, looking down into the top, a serial number of 70598 and a adjuster to set the time either faster or slower.
