A vintage PORTER leather cartridge / bullet "money" belt. Husband put a .38 in a couple of the loops just to show what it would fit - may fit some others, not sure. He also put a .30 carbine which fit better than the .38, as they were a little tight. Bullets for display only and photographing, of course, and not a part of the listing. This is from a vintage estate - very nice collectible item and being sold as obtained from the estate. It meausres 35" (measuring from end to end of belt only) x 2 1/4". Good stitching. "PORTER" is imprinted on two of the little silver looking rivets - I put a yardstick thru the belt (see second photo) just to show how the money belt portion works, or where the money goes. I counted 31 bullet loops / holders on this cartridge money belt. We have a total of 12-15 various vintage cartridge belts and a few are the money belts. We will list as time permits. A couple of them will be old military issue. If more than one is purchased by same buyer we will, of course, combine shipping - just please wait for us to invoice after close of auctions. Special Note #1: This is a home of our beloved 8 yr old white Lab...she only gets excited for "going outside and eating crackers" ...but occasionally you may find one of her hairs.
