Over the next several months, I will be selling vast collections of wonderful vintage antiques which I have lovingly accumulated of over the past 50 years, as I am now downsizing. Vintage kitchen items, Christmas ornaments, clocks, lamps, telephones, art pottery and much, much more will be listed on Ebay. This auction is for one of many wonderful and very rare collectible vintage pieces I will be listing on Ebay. Specifically, a very rare Lefton Christmas Cookie Jar or covered Candy Jar that is numbered (#1474) and has retained its original Lefton foil sticker on the bottom. It features a red and white candy cane striped top and base and a wonderful little Christmas house snow scene with two adorable Christmas trees. I have had this wonderful piece for over 50 years. It measure approximately 7.0" high by 6.25 inches across, at its widest points. Just look at the detailing in the chimney, walkway and snow and on BOTH sides. It is exquisite and in very nice condition, for its age - no chips, cracks or flea bites. Only a couple light brown spots on the inside and some minor crazing, understandable for its age. This is the perfect Valentine gift for that someone special who is looking for that special cookie jar for their vintage collection. If you are looking for a wonderful addition to your vintage kitchen or Christmas collection, look no further. It will definitely help you remember a much simplier time from "days gone by".
