This auction is for a Used Vintage Leitz Leica 135mm f/4 Elmar-M Chrome Lens. 4-Elements 12 blades and Rare Lanthanum glass. Made in the Holy City of Wetzlar, Germany. Circa: 1961. The LEICA ELMAR 135/4 is an excellent lens, optically and mechanically. It is the only 135mm lens one will ever need, offering optical perfection, ergonomic brilliance and light weight. This lens has become very sought after by collectors and users alike. This lens is in outstanding used condition and amazingly well preserved. Condition: normal signs of use to lens body with part of vulcanite chiped. light marks consistent with day to day use. focusing a light tight from non use. glass surfaces and coatings are beautiful, with light inner haze, light inner dust. lens appears in near EX condition considering its age. operation and focusing are fine and aperture blades are smooth and oil free. G reat lens for the Leica aficionado or Collector! The optical construction of the lens consists of 4 elements in 4 groups, Rare-earth Lanthanum glass.
