Life Magazine was published weekly from 1936 to the late 1960's---then on a monthly basis. Because of this it is focused on a specific time frame, with current news of the day. These magazines are considered a piece of American history. Articles from any LIFE magazine (1936-1949) provide valuable insight to the cause, effects and history of WWII, since they were written as history unfolded. They contain stories of the day, stories of movie stars and royalty also they contain many neat old ads.This treasured piece of history will charm your family and friends, and will make a unique conversation piece or gift.
