This is a wonderful set of twisted hollow glass prisms on a brass lamp light bobeche. All together as one lot. Six brass bobeche rounds. The long glass prisms are FABULOUS!!! The sound alone makes these a must have. The glass is hollow and when touching each other they sound as if they are "chimes". Each brass round is 4" x 1/2" high and has 28 holes. The brass on each are tarnished and some have a verde green patina on the brass. The twisted glass prisms are 6 1/2" tall x 1/4". Gorgeous twisted ribbed glass with pointed swirled tips on the end. Again the sound these glass beauties make is like no other! Of the six brass rings 90 twisted glass prisms are in good condition. I did not remove any of the prisms which may have tips with nips or bottoms that are broke. Of this lot you could make three perfect ones. Each prism is unique on their own, slightly different as they are hand made in which some of the swirls are wider, larger or smaller then the next. This set came from an estate in Chicago which by the looks of the brass and the discoloration of the glass they may have been in a wet area. Each prism should be removed and given a good bath!
